I just came back from an amazing week with my colleagues and mentors from the John Maxwell Team. This week is filled with inspiring stories, wonderful people, and a wealth of insight. One of the sessions I attended was focused on personal growth. The underlying message was that we need to grow ourselves before we can grow others. Makes sense, doesn’t it? If we are not growing, how are we going to be able to help others? If I am stuck how I am going to help someone become unstuck?
Many years ago, I was the kind of person who had a growth plan and wrote it out, periodically checking in to see how I am doing. One of my mentors encouraged us this week to start back (or begin) with that discipline again. This week I will be diligently working on my own growth plan. It will be extremely detailed and will contain every area of my life that I need to work on.
This week transformed my life. Not only did I grow exponentially this week, but I have set some unbelievable goals that I will be working on. I’ve never not reached a goal that I have set and this time will be no different. I up leveled my business and my ability to help others. In just a few weeks, I will have an exciting announcement about some new services I will be offering, so stay tuned!
Now, my question to you is, how are you growing yourself? What are you doing to become a better person, a better spouse, a better leader, a better employee, or just a better you? Do you have a growth plan? What are you working on? If you are stuck, I am here growing myself so I can help you grow as well! Let me know how I can help you!
Thank you for reading and have an AMAZING week!
